The Journal of Basrah Researches Sciences (JBRS) is a biannual, peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basrah. Established in 1988, the journal holds both a Print ISSN (1817–2695) and an Online ISSN (2411-524X). Initially publishing in both Arabic and English, the journal has published exclusively in English since 2017.
The journal focuses on advancing knowledge across various disciplines in science and technology, including biology, chemistry, computer science, physics, mathematics, and geology. Each issue includes original research articles, literature reviews, and technical studies submitted by researchers from academic and research institutions.
