About the Journal

The Journal of Basrah Researches Sciences (JBRS) is a biannual, peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basrah. Established in 1988, the journal publishes original research articles, literature reviews, and technical studies in biology, chemistry, computer science, physics, mathematics, and geology. JBRS has published exclusively in English since 2017 and follows a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic quality and scientific integrity.
